Hello!
I've just joined this forum.
I just got back this evening here in Utah from bringing home a 1977 124 Spider that I bought out in San Jose.
It is a great acquisition. She has been named Sohpie by the previous owner and his wife and I think my wife and I will keep it.
She is in great, nearly rust-free condition thanks to the second owner (I am the forth) having it in storage for nearly 25 years!
I will post some pictures and I'm sure will be talking with many of you as I learn more about my fantastic Fiat!
Brent

Yes, this adventure with the Fiat is our first one and I do think we are going to love it!
I brought my wife and son down to the house to see it and took it for a drive to Home Depot. She rides and drives very nicely, but is not (yet) perfect...when accelerating in first gear, there seems to be a rattle (somewhat harsh) that is coming from directly below the E-brake handle..I'm presently assuming that it is the drive line, maybe a U-joint.
Any thoughts?
My wife is cautious about really being 'into the whole Fiat scene', but she will come around after we can prove the car out.
I'll be posting pictures soon. Hopefully this week. I wasn't able yet to take any quality photos.
Thanks for the welcome to the site! This is definitely going to be fun!
