My name is Garry Lincon and I live in the southern MD area south of Washington D.C.
I'm on my second 124 Spider since 1982 and I just can't get rid of HER! Not that I want to. I had over 250,000 miles over a 14 year period on the first Fiat (ah, Sylvia!) until a snow storm, ice and a guard rail cracked the frame right at the left front control arm!!! Anyway, I HAD to use her for parts and I came across my second one and I started all over again! Due to life situations, she's not my only means of movement and She is in need of a little TLC which I am doing as time/money permits. This is a great site and I'm glad I finally found alot of you Fiat Junkies out there! I'm looking forward to meeting more of the members and learning/sharing info about Fiats.!!!! Can anyone confirm the myth I heard regarding the drilling of holes on the inside of the rear wheel arch in order to reduce rust build up along the arch?
Appreciate any comments.
Anyone near southern MD please drop a line.
Regards, Garry
Greetings From Southern MD!

Hi Garry, welcome to the forum. There is a group of owners in the DC area, and a great bunch of people they appear to be at that. You should look into hooking up with them: http://www.dcfiats.org/
