I think Ralph sat there all day waiting for the right time to take that picture.
Dave, I started to put the sealer on with a foam brush. It doesn't leave streaks that way. Now I'm using a paint brush. It goes on a lot faster. Then I use the foam brush to smooth it out. I also use a small 1/4 " painters brush to get into small openings and a rag that I dunk into the sealer to get behind the walls like the shock openings. I want everything covered. Show a pic of what you got going. I'd like to see it.

Hope to get back on this project soon. The Spider has kept me busy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wwwfiatspi ... 059684517/

Here's how far I got on the third day. I was able to stick my arm inside the wheel wells and coat them with the foam brush. This job is tedious.

Thanks Brady. Its a 1961 Fiat Cabriolet with the Osca Engine. It was my fathers, and I have not worked on it since getting my Spider. As tight as my garage is, Im tempted to store the Spider this winter and work on the Cab. Your is coming along!

It looks like that's a tug of war. Which one gets attention today. I got the sealer done. I'm getting ready to spray the bottom with chasis satin black if the weather permits. I have to order the Southernpolyurethane epoxy primer to do the body now. The interior and bottom was the worst. Thank god that's done. I'm looking at either cobalt blue or majestic blue Kandy color from House of Kolors urethane paints. :P http://www.houseofkolor.com/

Seriously excellent work! What I wouldn't give to be able to do the same to mine! When it's all done, that car should last a long time. :D

Got the bottom and the front crossmember Painted today with black satin chasis paint from Master Series. This was my first time painting with a spray gun. I was lucky to have an experience painter with me. It still is curing so it looks a little shiny. :P

Brady,

You are the man. I am jealous of what you're doing with this car. I really enjoy watching this thing progress. It's going to be something special.
