Hi there my coolant reservoir is empty but my radiator is full. I had the heater valve replaced and the leak stopped from going into my passenger side but my reservoir is never full. Could it be the heating matrix or core?

Re: empty coolant reservoir
It sounds like it is sucking in more coolant out of the bottle as air pockets get worked out of the system. Keep the reservoir at the half full (cold) mark. After a few more heat cycles it will probably need no more added.
If you are still suffering a leak, do you smell a sweet smell or have an oily film building up on the windshield? Given the relative simplicity of the heating system there aren't many places for the coolant to hide. Especially if you don't have carpets and pads to hide it.
