Don't be shocked  Tony is only using a little Jersey humor  You have to live here to appreciate it. I on the other hand really do know the guy for that. He's in the gray bar hotel as a guest of the state. That is where he belongs. Missed you at the FFO. Did see GA spider and met your father. George
I guess we have the same sort of folks to go to here. His name is Bubba.

Hate I missed you at FFO. I was a bit busy with 4 kids to contend with. Thankfully they were all girls and there was a mall close by! Ron and I normally go to Freakout with no kids so we can roam and talk to everyone. This year the timing was all off but I was happy to be able to hang out with some of my Fiat buddies.

Hello Doug, and Welcome!

Another option would be to go with a later model and fit it with small bumpers. You'd get the advantage of fuel injection with classic looks.

Hey, my wife's a Jersey girl, Newark to be exact :o . I think everyone's last name in her neighborhood ended in a vowel :D . She's been away from Jersey for 30 years now (we're in California), but there's some behaviors that just won't go away. I guess you can't take the Jersey out of the girl.

And, btw, Doug, welcome to the board.

Brady, thanks so much for the welcome. This is a very friendly place. I took a quick look at your project. You are doing amazing work. I'm helping out with a Corvette restoration right now, I don't have your skills, I'm just a worker bee. But I've done enough to appricate your work.

NJ Fiat, thanks for the offer and the picture. She looks sweet. Like all of us, I've got a lot (not car stuff) going on. I'd love to visit you and talk a look at the 124's. I promise to stay in touch.

I'm glad to see my original post has turned into a discussion about New Jersey. Just a little trivia. Ever wonder why it seems no matter where you travel in the USA or Canada you always meet folks from NJ? After all it is so small: its the fifth smallest state in the Union. But its the 11th largest in population. And in population density, New Jersey is #1. We have almost 1200 people per sq. mile. Get this, the national average is 86 people per sq. mile. No wonder we sometimes feel like sardines.

The funny thing is that there is still areas of relatively open space, particularly in the south and northeastern parts. Our proximity to the great cities of New York and Philadelpia, and our beautiful beaches are a few of our best virtues. I won't get into our shortcomings.

Doug,
Thanks for stopping by. Pleasure to meet you. We will keep you informed of future events. There maybe an upcoming trip to Bradys (That's right Brady were coming down!) in the near future. Oct 4th is the Bridge tour. We may go down to LBI soon. Feel free to attend. George
