Hello,
My name is Marcel van de Kerkhof and i live in Oirschot nearby the airport of Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
I'am the proud owner of a black Fiat 124 Sport Spider 1800 US type CS1 from 1979.
I want to become a member to learn more about the possibilities of the spider and share my knowledge about the last 7 years that i own the spider. Before i have already hat experience with Fiat. My fist car the famous Fiat 127 sports with 70HP, my second car a Fiat X1/9 with a european engine 1300CC and i also have a Fiat X1/9 with the 1500CC engine.
Momentary i'am looking fore a "Manifold" with two Weber carburetors and trumpet air intake. Has some this fore sale or is there some one who nose where i can buy this (please give me an adress or phone number).
I hope to hear from you sone, my email adress is vvdkerkhof@kpnplanet.nl
Thanks fore your response!

Re: Marcel from Oirschot, Netherlands
marcel, welcome. when can we see some snapshots of your car?
for clarification, the 1800 Spider was last produced for the 1978 model year. a 1979 would have a two litre engine.

Welcome to the forum Marcel. Mike is right about the '79 being a 2000 engine. Sorry, can't help you with the manifold and carbs but good luck with your search.

Welcome to the forum Marcel. Could it be that your car has had an engine transplant? Hopefully, your US model 79 wasn't a California import, by 1979 there was a lot of HP robbing smog crap on those.
