Hi,
My name is Steve and I joined to learn more about our Fiat Spider and get some troubleshooting suggestions for a (hopefully) minor issue.
My wife and I recently became the owners of a '72 Fiat Spider 124 Convertible. It belonged to her Grandmother in California who had purchased it new but has stopped driving due to her age and she gave the Fiat to my wife. The Fiat is all original except the paint job (from what I can tell so far) and has slightly less than 50k miles on it.

Hey Steve, welcome to the forum.
If you'd had your car a couple of months ago I could have stopped to see you guys and it. I drive my Spider up to Oregon each year for a Fiat campout weekend at Howard Prarie Lake, and this year I went up to Washington also. I passed through your town a couple of times.
Congratulations on your new car, and good luck with it. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you run into any issues, you'll get plenty of help here.
