Greetings!!
Just today purchased my first Fiat. A bright yellow Spider that looks like it has the makings for a nice, fun, driver -- which is exactly what I have been looking for.
I'm a retired AF officer, current full time, stay-at-home Dad for our 7 year old second grade son. I also run a small business - focused computer networking company as well. My wife is an accounting manager at a big bank in Seattle.
Car wise, I'm a confirmed nut. And probably slightly off beat as well. For "daily drivers" we have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd (Hemi), and my pride & joy -- a 2003 Jaguar S-Type R (400hp V-8, 6-spd ZF auto, etc.) But, since these two require little maintenance I have enjoyed having a 3rd "toy" available. The Fiat replaces a Triumph TR-7 which I sold about a month ago. The Triumph was a great little sports car ... but it was a coupe and it just didn't grab me on those nice, warm, summer days as a convertible would. Looked at a lot of cars, but this little Fiat was very appealing.
I have several questions about the Fiat which I'll post in the general section. Look forward to a nice association with the Spider ... and this forum.
Cheers!

Yellow color code? Unknown. I have not found a plate yet with that info. However, since it doesn't match most of what's hidden in door panels and so on, I seriously doubt it's a "factory" match. (What's hidden seems a bit lighter than what's on the outside.)
I call it Ferrari yellow!! Makes me feel like I'm going faster!!
Nope ... no back bumper, yet. Am on the hunt for a used one somewhere, hopefully within driving distance!! Couple of leads so far, but no money has exchanged hands yet!!
Cheers!!
