driver door latch

Post by jimincalif »

Getting familiar with my Spider, a 1980, here is my first question. Is there an adjustment for the door latch to cause it to hold the door tighter to the body? The latch on the door rotates and locks, there are two positions, the latched but still loose position and then the fully closed position. It appears the latch is working correctly, but just needs to rotate a bit more to hold the door tight. As it is, when fully latched the door panel is slightly outside of and not flush with the quarter panel, and the door shakes and rattles when driving.

Thanks.

OK, I see how that works. Was able to bring it in a bit and improve things. Perhaps I need new weatherstripping to really firm it up. I see it has a few splits.
