Bought my 82 Spider

I'm a new member. I had my first spider back in '77. It was a '74 and was green with tan interior. I only had it for a year and had to sell it. I have often thought of getting another just as a fun weekend car. I found a very nice '82 that was still in the original owners family up in Los Osos (California Central Coast). It's getting some maintenance done at a garage in San Luis Obispo and the current owner is driving it down to San Diego next Friday. I'm really looking forward to taking it on short drives to the beach and just having fun with it. I may restore it down the line but it's in pretty decent shape and only has 74k miles on it. I hae all of the original receipts going back to new.

Congrats! If you guys want to meet some place 'in the middle', I'd be glad to host you at our place in Ventura. I'll be at work that day, though, and won't be home until after 5. Wishing you both good success with changing owners.
