Yeah! I got my Spider tonight!

I got my Spider from Mark tonight. He put a lot of work into it and it runs great. 1980 FI, new paint, new upholstery, new top, timing belt, brakes, tires, various gaskets, seals, etc. Here are a couple of quick pictures I got in the fading light. I'll post more when I get a chance to take them in daylight:

A shame its so unattractive. I am sure one of us would could see our way to help you out with say, five or ten dollars to remove the blight from your front yard and garage.

Thanks everyone, yes, I definitely intend to drive it. Took it out on some twisties after work yesterday, gotta give it a workout and get used to it and its various noises and quirks. Also I have a lot to learn mechanically. I had a Fiat 128 3P 30 years ago, did basic maintenance work on it myself, but really haven't done much myself on cars since then. I've downloaded various things like wiring diagrams and will order a couple of manuals.

First little project, I have a nice dual trumpet air horn set still in the box that I never installed in the 128. Then maybe headlight relays, and one of those "short shifters", plus a lot of cleaning/detailing of the interior and shiny bits.

Thanks Ron, no internet during the week! I'd either go thru withdrawal or get a lot more stuff done!
