thinking about getting an 850 spider

i am thinking about getting an 850 spider, i have 2.5 124''s, anyone know if the 850 has the same electric issues as the 124?

All old cars will have some electrical issues. The newest 850 was sold in 1973 so it will likely be a project no matter what. The issues will be different but there will be issues.

An 850 is very simple, the wiring schematic is not at all complex and there are few relays. Choose a 1970 to get an alternator or rewire the charging system to add an alternator to a 1967-1969 car.
