Hello! I'm very psyched to have just purchased a 1982 Spider. Similar to a new member below, I had a friend in high school who's dad had a dark blue one with tan interior that I always thought was a great car. it seemed like there were no Spiders of this color around, and then I found a guy who had re-sprayed a blue metallic one - so no tan interior, but I love the dark blue color. It seemed to be in great shape, but I took it straight to a shop to have it gone through. So far, the radiator turned out to be the biggest issue . . . . together with about 63 smaller things.

I can't seem to post photos directly to this post - unless I'm missing something. Otherwise will try to post externally with link.

posting pics are easy once you learn how. first you must store them on-line somewhere, then copy the address, and use the img button when you are posting a thread... insert the address

Welcome. I also joined not too long ago. I've had my '77 Spider for about a month now and am enjoying it immensely. I'm right across the bay from you in Oakland. I have learned a great deal from the folks on this board. I'm sure you will too. Drop me a line and we can compare our cars.
