hello all,
I am Kevin from the middle of this big country. I drive a carbed 1980 spider, blue/grey, with tan on the inside. Its got the usual fiat/italian car problems...slow to no blinkers, tail lights out of wack, a little rust on the rear wheel wells and it needs fixing up all around but it runs and drives and im hoping to get it going strong with help of the forum and the ol' greasy elbow.

Welcome to the forum Kevin.
Good for you, the first question we have when an 80 shows up is "carb'd or FI?" and you already answered it. Now the only question is, when do we get to see pictures of your car?
You'll get all the help you need here, so bring it on!
Sounds like maybe you have a twin to Craig's (ga.spider) car, a trophy winner.

PIctures of the ol' girl. The interior is in my house getting cleaned and fixed, the carb is in the box at the bottom of the picture, and its covered in dust. Man, I can't wait to get her cleaned up, put back together and on the road.

Looks like a great start to a long relationship!
Looks a bit better than you led us to believe in you first post. Looking forward to the next set of pics documenting the return to the road.

Good job getting the pics posted. Thanks.
That's a pretty color alright. You got one good looking car.
Looks a little crowded for parking space though.

Re: Nebraska kevin
She will defiantly be in a lot nicer condition when I get "done" with her. I say "done" because I bet I will always be tinkering with it some how. I am just getting all the major projects (the fun ones) done first. Once I find an 1800 intake manifold, she will be a real screamer. Cant wait! Will keep you all updated with pictures once parts start getting put back together.

Kevin,
What part of NE are you in? I'm just east of Cedar Rapids IA. So to the Omaha zoo is about 5.5 hour drive. If your in the eastern part, and wanna decent days drive, we could meet in Des Moines.
I'm starving for some Fiat owners here in Corn/Cow Kountry of Eye-0-wa.
