Not sure where to post this one forum section wise? I need to know what people use to replace the inner door window wipes / seals? the fuzzy strips that are attached to the upper door panels. I cannot find any of the usual suspects that has them or knows where to get them. R E Originals wants like $70 for a close but not correct pair that then have to be cut and modified. Anyone got a good source / solution for this one?
Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but my search attempts didn't find it. Again, the fussy inner seals, NOT the rubber outer seal. ~21 inch strips pop riveted to window side of the upper door panels.

This is what I used: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Sear ... ogId=10101 It comes in a 6' length (enough to make 3 pieces), and only costs $21 + shipping.
Works great. Save the old ones to use as a template for drilling holes for the rivets in the new material. I attached mine with pop rivets.

Venture Ace - Thanx for the great tip. I always forget about good old JC Walinskis! I am just debating trying their seat belt replacemtns while I am at it. Anyone ever used JC Whitney replacements?

Well it turns out good ole JC isn't carrying this any more. Anyone else know of a good source / substitute for the inner belt line window wipe felt?

I bought mine from a local auto glass shop. I would ask a restoration shop where they source theirs if you run into another brick wall.

Thanks for the info., part is on the way! Luigi will be so happy! He's been driving around without door panels for a while and doesn't like it at all based on the rattling window sounds!
