Reunited in Utah

Post by pc124 »

A quick note to introduce myself.

I just retrieved the 78 124 Spider that I first drove when it was brand new. It is a one-family-owner car with 28K miles.

After some recent work, it was very fun to drive 800 miles (2 days) to its new home in Utah.

I relied on info from this forum for my exhaust system and stereo system choices, and I will post my results within the next few weeks. I appreciate having access to this community and this info.

Later.

Very interesting story pc124. How cool to own a car you drove when it was brand new.

Let us see some pics of your new car.

Yeah, my dad bought it new in 78. He is downsizing his garage space, so my options were to buy it or sell it for him. Photos in a few days.

Welcome to the group pc124. That's a very cool story. I bought mine new in 1978 as well, but my sons will have to fight over it when I'm gone. It's amazing how these cars create such attachment in their owners and their families.

Park City 124?

Welcome! There are a few of us here from Utah all in various stages of Spider ownership. Mine is currently waiting the bank to call to tell me they found a stack of money with my name on it. Check out the link in my signature and put your name on the list.
