Nardi Steering Wheel Hub Adapter

Post by tonyfromjersey »

I bought a used Nardi wheel on eBay, it has a 6-hole pattern. Is there a good source for a hub adapter for my 77? I looked at International Auto and they want a princely sum for it. For some unknown reason I can't get on Vick's website from over here in the desert (I'm on a military trip), the computer Nazis have it blocked. I'll try tonight from the wifi area with my personal laptop, but they've got it pretty well locked down as far as what sites you can go to.

Anyway, if anyone has one they're willing to sell, or knows a good place to get one, let me know.

Only 12 days to go.

Hi Tony,
Have one that I purchased from Vic's when I purchased a Nardi wheel on ebay. The wheel arrived and was not as advertised. Cracked in several places. You can have mine as I decided not to purchase a Nardi unless I can see it in person. I will get another adapter later. Call me when you get back in country. If you find a nice Nardi over there pick it up for me. Sounds like a reason to go to Mastori's for lunch. George

Is a Nardi the same 6bolt pattern as the later stock wheels? I bought a nice 6 bolt aftermarket wood wheel and it bolted to my stock adapter. On my 72 I bought a later hub and a 6 to 5 bolt adapter so I could use a Grant wheel.

George,

Thanks. Mastori's sounds like a great plan. I should be home the 3rd of July. 111 degrees today, back up to 117 tomorrow. Hot and dusty, dusty and hot. I guess it's been raining non-stop at home, I could go for a cold rainy day right about now.

Talk to you soon,

Tony
