New guy here

Post by Brandall »

Hey,

I am new to the list. I am currently in Atlanta, GA but by the end of summer, I will be in Pennsylvania.

I have an '81 Pininfarina that sort of moves under its own power. the transmition has some issues and the PO stripped the socket for one ot the exhaust manifold bolts. I also have floor boards that would make swiss cheese jealous.

On the plus side, the entire rear end has been rebuilt, the car sits on a koni preformance supension on all four corners and if I ever put it back on, the ANSA exhaust sounds pretty tough. Also, my current address is about 2 miles from the front door of Bayless (major FIAT parts house).

That's about it for now. I have major plans for the car but at this point they are just plans. I will warn all of the purists now that, well, I am not a purist. If I am ever able to invest the time and money in this car that I would like to, it will be a very special and very different car. In the mean time, I'm just trying to keep her on the road.

Looking forward to being part of the group.

Sincerely,

Bill

Unless you go with Historic tags, PA is pretty tough on registration, with a biannual safety inspection that prohibits any sheet metal perforations, and a whole lot of other things.

Hi out there in Georgia, I hope everything is peachy for you and your car. Man, am I glad I don't live two miles from one of the major Fiat parts suppliers! I don't want to think about what would happen if I lived that close to tempatation.
Post some pictures of your car for us to admire when you get a chance.

Welcome. I am also in Atlanta.

I also made some changes to mine that some purists may not like. Check it at http://www.myfiat124.com

Let me know and we can meet at a Fellinis around town. Good luck.
