Welcome to the forum Zippy. You're around my old stompin' grounds. I'm from up there originally, but I've been stuck in California for the last 30 years. Glad to have you aboard. Post some pics of your car when you get a chance.

I posted pictures of the POs restoration over in "Fiat Spider Related" I didn't see a "Gallery" topic. Where does everyone post their pictures?

There's really not an area here for a member's gallery. You'd have to do a search on a member to see if they posted it in thier introduction. The FLU site ( http://www.flu.org/ ) has a member's gallery and a lot of us have our cars there.

Thanks for all the welcoming comments. All the work was done by the previous owner. I lived next door and watched a lot of the progress. Held a wrench now and then but the work was all him. This is my third FIAT. My first was a 69 Sport Coupe I bought in 1971. I loved tht car. Sold it when I left San Francisco in 1974. My second FIAT was a 72 Sport Coupe I bought in 1976. That was my favorite car. I got tangled up in a 4 car pileup when some guy ran the car in front of me off the road in the snow. The car in front of me hit another car that was already in the ditch and spun back into the road and hit me. Another car came over the hill and slid into me. Damaged on all 4 sides so the insurance company totaled it. I would love to have a 72 SC again...but for now it's convertible time.
