I think this one is my favorite:

Followed by the center one below and then the top one, but all are good. Soon as you're ready, I'm ready to order. Thanks for your work.

Hey guys. Been off the radar for a bit.

I looked into what I could do at the graphics center at the university. I could do regular stickers, but they don't have the clear window clings anymore.

The Zazzle deal looks like it might be the way to go. I like the first one on Trey's post above, and I like the round keychain. I don't usually put stickers on my car, but I'd go for a shirt with that first one on it.

Steve - great to have you back. I believe that you came up with that logo, if so would it be possible for you to make it in a bit higher resolution and sized to 11"x3" (bumper sticker size)? Doing that will make sure the graphics are crisp when they are printed. This is all provided it is choice of the masses. If you can, feel free to email it to me at statonmc at hotmail dot com. Unfortunately, zazzle doesn't do the window clings either but the vinyl stickers that they use should work well as window stickers or windshield banners.

I'll email it to you tonight. I'll give you a couple of different sizes, resolutions and formats, just so all the bases are covered.

I tried to buy a keychain from the zazzle site and they canceled my order because the item had a trademarked symbol in it (the Fiat logo). I don't know if they'll give us trouble over the fiatspider.com in the italic blocks.

That sucks! I will go and remove the keychain so that doesn't happen to anyone else. We will have to see how they feel about the fiatspider.com logo. I don't think they are really going to be too strict on the symbolism used but we will have to wait and see. I will try to get those up soon so we can see what happens.

Maybe Mark of Evan could post a link to the Zazzle site under "announcements and news" with the link. I've had a few people contact me, (I guess since I started the thread), wondering if they were available. I'd still love to get some smaller stickers

I am sorry that I have fallen behind on this! I will try to get back to them soon and hopefully we all can have some new stickers for our rides. Again, my apologies.

All -
I really appreciate all of the interest in FiatSpider.com merchandise. I know everyone has good intentions but I'm a little concerned about legal and copyright issues as well as FiatSpider.com branding. Seeing that there is a real interest in merchandise, I am in the process of setting up a site with high-quality products with official FiatSpider.com merchandise. The proceeds of the sale of any items will go directly to support this site. I expect to have this online within the next couple of weeks.

I'd like to ask that the site at zazzle.com be taken down right away so that there is no confusion around the "official" merchandise site.

Like I said, I know good intentions are behind these posts and efforts. However, as the owner of FiatSpider.com, I think it's appropriate that I operate the merchandise site. I was not aware of this effort until today.

I have a lot of flexibility in the products I can offer, so I'll roll out the initial line of products and solicit feedback.

Again, I appreciate the enthusiasm and no hard feelings - but any official merchandise site needs to come from me, the owner of the site. Stay tuned - I'll make an announcement at the top of the Forum when the merchandise site is live in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks,

Evan, I brought this up early on and have dropped any further pursuit of ideas since. Fiat Spider is a legally registered name by Fiat Motor car company. When we talked about this initially in the forum, Fiat was not doing business in America, and out of sight is out of mind. Wouldnt you know it since then, they are handed Chrysler and are again incorporated to do business in America.
I wasnt sure when you said "legal and copyright issues" if you were referring to just this site or Fiat. I dont know what Fiats attitude would be towards this. Some companies are litigious and others are understanding of small enthusiast organizations about the use of their names.

Fiat already has the Fiat500.com site.

Pope -
You're right, things may change in the future. However it is very important to note that my entity here is a web site, specifically "FiatSpider.com". I am not using any official Fiat marks or logos. Fiat is aware of this site and supports it. In fact, they even linked to it from the official site at one point. I'm not sure if that's still the case, but they did years ago. This site has been up for 13 years now, so there's something to be said for that too. Now, if they ever re-introduce the Spider model - who knows what the deal will be. We'll just have to wait and see on that one, if it happens at all. Personally, I think they would be smart to do it.
