i am about forty five minutes north of Toronto right now. the gal at the local establishment, The Salty Dog, tells me i am no where near "up north". It's only 17 degrees, sure sounds like I'm up north!!
any clues?
Met with Alex the other evening... great guy. Excited to receive some new parts for his Spider, as much as i was glad to see a friendly face. Didn't see his Spider however But, Missy near jumped him for the keys to his Mini
havin' a good time, see y'all next week

Mike - "Up north" to a Torontonian would be Hunstville (if they're cottagers), Sudbury/North Bay (if they're fishermen) or Ottawa (if they don't get out much). It's cool and wet here today too, but better days are coming. Enjoy your trip.

I try not to go too far past Orlando if I can help it, everything else is way too far up North for me.
Re: they tell me I'm NOT up north
well, after 870 miles of uneventful travel, we made it back home and safe!! the Spider gave no fits, or even tantroms!
the CN tower was a hoot, pure turist attraction. WOWZERS, no one told me the Jay's stadium was right next door, and they were having a game yesterday.... would have been nice to know, cuz finding a parking space was a real treat! i bet the white socks are gonna be more excited than i was to leave that city!!
today (monday) we rest, and tomorrow, back to the real world.

Glad to hear you made it back without any issues! I am sure you're glad to be home.mbouse wrote:well, after 870 miles of uneventful travel, we made it back home and safe!! the Spider gave no fits, or even tantroms!
Mike, I noted this game in response to your original question about top down weather in Toronto.mbouse wrote:WOWZERS, no one told me the Jay's stadium was right next door, and they were having a game yesterday.... would have been nice to know, cuz finding a parking space was a real treat!

well, the second thing to go is a guy's memory.
funny... all the folks THERE we asked about what to do did not mention the game. we even talked about the Tower, and no mention that the game was 50 yards away.
anyway... we made it up and down the tower, and home. we are safe, tired and happy.
