i met with the CHI-FLU crew this past weekend for their start of the season "Meet and Greet". Met Max Bassler (this forum newbie) and i guess he was well enough impressed with the CHI-FLU crew to sign up for a year's membership. Congrats to Max.
max and i did the unavoidable parts-swapping during the meet. both he and i were well pleased that we were able to meet each other in person (Max had to be there, the meet was in his home town).
unfortunately the weather sent me packing home early...three and a half hours to my garage from Hampshire Illinois.
Great day, great folks, and great cars.

Hey Mike, Glad you had a good time with my HOM-Boz... glad you got to introduce Max. You didn't mention any other adventures you had while in Chi-town.

well.... not everything that is done could be classified as an adventure. some things are best left unsaid.
lessee... i delivered some parts, i picked up some parts. i consumed some adult beverages and ate some pizza. i listened to LEE tell lies, and laughed at Dave's jokes.
beating the rain storm home was a high speed race against the clouds. fortunately, i was heading east; and made it before the storm dumped.
