Another new Fiat owner

Hi all, Les from So Calif. Just bought a 1978 124 Spider, drove it home and started on a long list of repairs. Like the Forum got many good suggestions so far...

Hey, you're not my brother Leslie, are you? (I'm guessing...no.)
Well, welcome to the forum anyway. What part of So Cal are you in? We have pretty regular get togethers here, so watch the forum and be sure to join in. We're also starting a So Cal chapter of FLU (Fiat/Lancia Unlimited). You can learn about this club here: http://www.flu.org/
We want to see pictures of your car, btw, asap.

Hey, my next younger brother's name is Leslie, Mike. And I just recently got a chance to show off my car to him, so, you know, I thought maybe he was so impressed, he went out and bought one. Could happen, you know.

Welcome to the forum! And don't pay any attention to the bickering - you'll get used to it. Mine's a '78 as well :D

Thanks for the welcome, Anyway I live in Agoura Hills, just north of the San Fernando Valley. Will have some pics later this week. It's rough :( but has a solid body and since it's a CA car no rust. Looking forward to applying all these great ideas.

Welcome on board. I too am a new spider owner. Well i bought a 77 import about a year ago. I have a good suggestion for you. Go straight out and buy another one just for spares. Maybe I am just unlucky but it seems like a never ending job. I am repairing something every week on mine.

Good luck buddy.
