I have 1978 spider. Found it in a field about 5 years ago. It was orange, just like a pumkin. But it ran. I changed the color to black with a tan top.
This is my third spider. My first was a red 76, then I bought a red 82.
My son D. Alvis just got a white 83 in Atlanta, GA

You got rid of an 82!!! What a sad day that must have been.
Sounds like you're going for eventually having had one of each year, and you're one up on me. (79 & 82).
Welcome to the forum. Post some pictures of your car when you get a chance, we enjoy seeing other's baby pictures.

Welcome from another Ga. owner!! Damn,all the sudden we have a group!Now,we need to work on getting together.Lets find a site thats convenient to every one and meet up.I live in the N.E. We are starting to get a pretty healthy number of Georgia Spiders on the forum - hopefully that trend will continue.
Procrastinate on setting up the get together long enough for me to get my Spider finished and put back together!

A reminder to any Spider owners in the S.E. 'The Mitty' vintage car show,race,swap meet,etc...is this weekend at RoadAtlanta.(May 1-3).Myself and at least 2 other Spiders are going to attend,and park in the Italian Car Corral.We are going to make laps around track !! Try to attend,its gonna be a blast.
