carburator problem

i got a problem with the way my engine runs. when i step on the pedal the engine sounds and feels like it is going to stall, but then the rpm's go up and everything is ok. could it be a cloged fuel filteror the pump :?: it idles fine. i am not sure what it is :?

probably a worn-out accelerator pump in the carb. Easy to change; the pump housing is on the outside of the carb and retained by 4 screws

on the left side of the carb, square cover about 1" held on by 4 screws. The accelerator pump diaphragm is inside. If you remove the cover be aware of the spring that sits under the diaphragm

I may be having the same problem. Where can I find a Weber diaphram for my 75 spider? Would any auto parts store carry such a thing?

All hope may not be lost! I just remembered that the guy I bought my car from gave me a box full of parts for the car. "I think there's a carb rebuild kit in there," he says to me. Egads! I may own the very part I need!
