Spring has Sprung!(pics to prove it)

Post by ga.spyder »

Nothing says that we have turned the corner into spring, than all the trees starting to bloom. Here in the Ga. mtns, the first are the Bradford pears, weeping cherries,dogwoods,magnolias,etc...I was doing a little top down cruisin today and came upon a great spot for a couple pics.So..chin up if its still cold where you are,it wont be long! :D

Nice pics Craig. The temps aren't quite as warm as I was hoping but the leaves are starting to show up on the trees. Thank goodness! I didn't think I could handle any more crappy weather.

The temps have been perfect. It was around 55 this am,going up to 65.At night is has been in the mid 30's.True feel good weather! 8) Pope ,why do my pics crop part of the right side? I am sizing them for 15'' screen ,600x800,on photobucket.Should I go to the next smaller size?

I size mine at 600 x 450 and they fit the forum just right.

Steve is right, the MAX is 640 on the width of a pic for it to not bleed off. Anywhere between 500 - 600ppi is a perfect option.
Your pic is 800ppi wide.

Nice! We probably have another month befofre the trees look like that and I can't wait! Spring Fever has arrived! I did manage to get the Fiat out last weekend to stretch it's legs, but it was nowhere near warm enough to drop the top yet.

Craig, looks cold there, with all that snow on the trees. At least you plowed the driveway.

That's not snow. That's the dust that was on the Fiat while it sat in the garage.

You are really tempting me to move out there Craig! The only sign of spring we get is people sneezing from the alergies to desert plant spoors.
Very, very purty.

It's getting really nice here as well. I put 350 miles on her this weekend, without a hitch. I just got back from cruising around town for an hour. As bad as my life sucks, I can forget everything for a while, it's just me and my car! 8)
