GREETINGS

Post by Lydia »

Many thanks to Evan for straightening out my very own email address. Fuzzy eyeballs at 2 a.m. CST! I am new to the forum and to Fiats. My 80 year old Dad has always been an auto enthusiast - restore, rebuild, etc. - but Fiat is new to both of us. Have been interested in LBC's, Volvo, Mercedes. Now, we are on to something different - FIAT! Regards, Lydia.

Yes, Dad has parts for autos that have probably long gone to their new home in the sky. As we all know - the one time you decide to part with something, the next minute you regret it. So, I am certain the Fiat world is similar. I noticed there is a meeting this summer in Missouri near where my husband was reared - the Lake of the Ozarks. It is in June. Another thing, there does not seem to be as many Fiat enthuiasts or at least websites for Fiat folks as there are for the LBC's.

Lydia, I believe you are referring to last year's Fiat Freak Out. This year it will be in Detroit, MI around the middle of July.

I think she is thinking of the MOFLO event. I may try to make it this year. It's the closest Fiat gathering to Little Rock besides the Italian car fest in Texas. Welcome Lydia. I am also new to this site since it awoke from a temporary coma, I usually post on another Fiat site. But what ever forum you post on, one thing will be true. The Fiat owner is a nice person that will give you help when needed. Good luck, and welcome again.
