Headlight + Turn Signal = No Turn Signal

Post by JB »

My turn signals are very slow and when I turn my headlights on they don't work at all. Where do I start?

Clean all your grounds and then go from there.

Ground cleaning is a good start for EVERY Fiat electrical issue. Secondly, clean all hot connections; there are several between the switch and the turn signal.

Also, be sure to ensure that there are no previous owner issues related to weird and bad wiring decisions.

Then, look into brown wire surgery, and putting your headlights on relays.

also clean the tail lamp/ turn signal/ park lamp sockets and make sure the bulb bases aren't corroded. The common reason that one circuit quits when an additional load is applied is voltage drop
