Hey! a red Spider with tan interior. That makes for a very nice combination. Is your top black?
Good looking ride Jim.
You'll get a full picture without it running off the page if you resize it at the photo hosting site to about 1/2 the original size though.

Looks great Jim! Are you gonna try to find some different wheels? If not then this is what I did and liked the results! I didn't spend much $$ either.

Mark,
Very funny!! The original hubcaps were chrome wired with a FIAT center logo. The lacquer has yellowed to the point where I would need to remove the lacquer in order use them. Want to do a minifix before I invest in Panasports!
Tulsa - I saw your posts and I like your wheels alot! I have been googling for hubcaps and rims but I haven't had much success. Where did you come by yours?
Ron- Yes the top is black. The carpet is red, quite a combination. Door panels are beige, armrests are black. Actually it looks better than it sounds. The entire color scheme is original from the factory!! The carpet is faded. I am considering replacing it with black carpet but Texas gets a wee bit warm in the summer!!!!

I got mine off of Ebay. My local hubcap guy also had some. I got the trim rings from him, just generic . There are some on Ebay now.

Re: New Memeber from Texas
I might be able to help you with hubcaps. I'm not sure I have 4 of the ones Tulsa has but I do have 4 of the plain dishes with Fiat stamped in the middle. PM me if interested.

Jim - i have both black and beige interiors. Black in the '78 and beige in the '80.
black seems to show every little fip and bit of debris.
go with beige, matching the seats !!

Re: New Memeber from Texas
Hey, Jim. We are a couple of Texas boys down south in League City. My friend Bob has a 78 and I have an 80. Good to have you so near. We can help each other with all sorts of things. There is a local club here in Houston. I am not sure about the name , but you can find out on Craigslist, Houston, Auto, Fiat. If you get our way, give a shout and we can hook up and swap horror stories. Talk to you soon, Emo.

Jim - Don't forget the Fiat Houston/Gulf Coast Group is always here to help AND for starters I have a set of Hub Caps if you need them. Next meeting is Tuesday Feb. 10th at Memorial Park 6:30 pm as usual. Let us know if you can make it.
