Hi, This is Deb and Mike from FL. My first car was a white 1970 124 spider in 1975. It died in 1980. I always wanted another one, so 5 years ago I saw one on EBAY. Not being a saavy ebay user, I out bid myself. Had a horrible ebay experience. CA seller said it ran, had a blaupunkt stereo etc. NOT. Then supposed to ship to Ft Myers Fl. Got stuck in Ft. Worth Texas. I had to find it myself and have it shipped the rest of the way. Then the Ex got a hold of it and stored it and one morning I was reading the paper and he was trying to sell my baby, but he couldnt cuz he didnt have the title. But neither did I. It took me 3 years to get the title from CA. Then when I finally got it back it sat the next two years while life took over. Then our hero came along. When I was moving, Mike had it towed to his house and completely took it apart. She is gorgeous now and I feel like I have a piece of me back! He thought it was a girly car at first, but after the 3 to 4 months he has spent on it, we are now looking for another one for him (so I can have mine back) The cute part is he is 6'8" tall and looks awesome in it. Can you believe he wants this instead of a Harley??? We took it out yesterday for a ride to Daytona and met Dave from Daytona Spider. What a find he is! Wish I had met him 5 years ago, but then I wouldn't have this story. SO GLAD TO BE A PART OF THE FIAT FAMILY AGAIN. WERE HOOKED AND CRAZY.
Oh yeah, what about all those electrical wires? LOL.
