I bought a beat up 1980 Spider. Not one body panel is free of damage, the interior is shot, bad after market rims( neither lug centrific or hub centrific) but... the car runs and has little body rust. Just installed new brake pads & bled the system with new dot 3. I have a long, long way to go, but it's all in the journey and the love for the car. Cheers!

wtf.. what the fiat?

wtf.

I have a 1979 with as close to a perfect body that you are likely to find. I'm parting it. If your mechanicals are good, you might be the right home for this.

It lived its whole life in Victorville (high desert), and I had it sandblasted in and out... zero rust. Some dents were corrected with light filler at a previous date. After blasting, I had it etch primed.

It is a very solid base for someone that has a good doner car... specifically one with bad body work.

I bought a 1974 as a parts car for it, and it turns out.. the 1974 was too good to part out. So I put my money where it needed to go. I'm driving the 1974...and parting the 1979.. lol

I was going to cut it in half, mainly because I always wanted to cut a car in half.. lol But if you are local enough to Southern California. You can have it for $100.00.

You need to understand, that there will be nothing but a body that I am selling for $100.00. absolutely everything with value will be stripped, including the doors, hood and truck lid. There is real money in those if they are clean... and they are.

$100.00 isn't much I know... even though everything of partable value will be removed. the $100.00 is basically the loss of fun value I put on actually cutting a car in half! lol

The spider is FI with an auto transmission, red with tan interior with the optional dealer installed trunk rack.

those dealer installed luggage racks are very common. prolly one of the most common dealer added accessories.

the one item i enjoy looking for every time a group of Spiders get together, is to evaluate where all of the radio antenna are installed. these too are dealer installed options, and there was no prescribed place to do so. so, nearly every Spider in the group will have their antenna installed in a different location.

where is your antenna installed?
