is your pull on the side with the old hose? I use Bendix Ceramlub on the caliper hardware, it's by far the best caliper lube. There are lots on the market though. What about bleeding? one small bubble can cause lack of pressure in a caliper

Ok I am a wee bit pissed. I ordered the part on the 28th of Dec. After 16 days and multiple phone calls. I get a message my part has been shipped. I thought jeez that was a pain, but if I get the part it will be worth it. Well today I get an E-mail saying that they can't get the caliper and a refund has been issued (but it hasn't showed up yet)... It took them 17 days to figure out that they don't have the caliper? Granted there were some holidays in there but that's ridiculous! I strongly recommend staying away from this place  You never know till you try! I guess I'll keep an eye out on Ebay maybe...

Clark, I got mine from Bruce (http://www.fiatparts.com/fparts.htm). He had the best price at the time and he's always shipped immediately for me.
I am repeating personregardless, but Bruce bears repeating.

On partsamerica.com when you go to check out it's "sorry we can't get these", to paraphrase! What a tease!
You know it's kinda funny when I first started doing research on my Spider I went to "local" parts websites and looked at things like brake calipers etc... I thought "cool there are parts readily available". I guess just because they list a bunch of options doesn't mean they actually exist :) O'Reilly's lists a LH rear for a good price, but no RH. Heh just my luck! I put in a call before to them but never got a call back. I think I'll try again tomorrow. Otherwise Lanciaf I will hit you up for the used one and attempt to re-build it myself!
Thanks for the suggestion Ron, He's got one of the better prices that are "real" all those $55 girls seem to be just a tease! 8)

Tulsa,

I bought a 76 parts car a few months ago. The previous owner "said" he replaced the rear calipers with new units prior to storing the car, however he never got a chance to bleed them. They appear new, but I have not taken them off yet. I may get around to it this weekend. Send me an email if you are interested: matt.scarton@gmail.com

I forgot about this one.
Try
Scott Weston at AW imports 800-631-5589.

They import direct Fiat parts and are generally cheaper than the vendors.
