Hi Gergar. Great to hear from you. I have a line on what you want. I sent you a personal message. Check your "control panel." Email me or phone. By the way, I saw a lovely yellow spider on the road yesterday. First time I've seen it. What color is yours?

Hi there, Glad to here there are a few spagetti racers in B.C. I'm not sure how I knew bout your post but I'm another from B.C.. Naramata, near Penticton. Not too many Fiats here One I know about in Summerland thats it. Most around here seem to drive those single overhead cam 4 speeds from the big rock off the coast of France. As for parts I hope you have found CEM auto sport now in Van. Gio Clemente is the prop. huge wealth of knowlege there, seems to know everything and the tinyest details from memory. Another is in Edmonton, Ital motors, just google and again Italian family lotsa fiat and alfa there with a good supply of parts. Being close to the border I have it fairly easy getting parts from the states, use a ups depo in Oroville. Drop me a line on the personal e-mail part. I have a couple of parts cars ( 79 & 80) and have a few parts remaining if you need anything.
I pop down to Vic. on occasion as well.

Hi Chris,

I'll be sure to drop you a line if I can use some parts when I get back into fixin. At the moment, the "81 (that I drove this summer) and the "78 (the parts car) are parked and covered for the winter - out of commission for now, especially with the winter we've been having!

Actually, there are quite a few Spiders (Fiats that is) here in Victoria. There are at least two black ones, two yellow ones (different shades), a white one, two green ones (different shades), a red one, and at least one blue one, all rolling stock I've spotted in town throughout this past summer. I know of several others that are parked too, but have only met two owners out of all of those! One day I saw two parked downtown at the same time, parked a mere half block apart.

Appreciate the advice about suppliers too. So far, I've bought what I needed from Vick's. Fast service, and good prices for what I needed.

You'll enjoy this forum. Lot's of help when you need it, and interesting reading when all you can do is dream about driving and working on the car. Come on spring! (Daffodils in February here).

Sorry to interupt your Canada thread, but......We almost made it to Vancouver Island, beautiful place. But we discovered you realllly need to know your ferry schedules up there. We were staying at Kalaloch Lodge in Washington, and were headed your way. I remember how cool it was when we were driving into the ferry launch (whatever it's called) and I saw a ferry just leaving. How cool was that, it might have been my ferry real ferry that I've ever seen, and I love boats. Unfortunately for us though, it was also the ferry we needed to be on, the last ferry to the island. Bummer. So, we never made it. The next day we went to Mt Ranier. But it was so cloudy and rainy, you could only see about 50 feet up the bottom of the mountain. Anyway, good time, hope to get back.

You car looks good. That about the condition I would like one in, enough to get your hans dirty, and not pretty enough to be willing to change a few things.
