Howdy everyone, I am new to the site and it has been very helpful already. I have a '79 Fiat Spider 2000 I bought as a birthday gift to myself in '06. It has brought me much joy and heart break, but would not trade it for the world. I replaced both the front and rear suspension when my pinion gear decided to break into three pieces, of all the things to go wrong on a Fiat, that was the last thing I thought would.
I would like to download some pictures but having trouble, does anyone know how to do so I would appreciate any and all help.

Thanks
JP

welcome to the site. Rear end failures are not uncommon on the later Spiders, so you're not alone with that problem.
To post pics you first need to use a photo sharing site like photobucket. Then copy the url of the pic and insert it between the Img brackets in the text box. The img brackets are found on the Img button above this box

Welcome JP. A 1979 was my first Spider also. It was the car we went on our honeymoon with, lo, these many years ago.
Looking forward to pictures of your car.

Howdy Mark,
I went to your web site today, WOW! I wish I knew about your exhaust header before I replaced mine, very nice. When I need to replace my starter I will for sure give you a call.

Hey, JP... Welcome.

looking forward to those pictures.

T'ain't any antique car owner that does not suffer mechanical difficulties sometime. But you are right... that gear wouldn't be my first guess at what would give you the troubles. Most of us fight electrical issues right away, and frequently.

Such is the life of a car restorer, 'eh?

I grew up in Plano, and still have a lot of family out there. Glad to have another Texan around!

Welcome,
Does Dallas have a football team? LOL
I'm from Detroit, so I know WE dont have one!
Just enjoy the time between things breaking on the Spider. Those will be the good times.
