Does anyone know the correct wiring order at the connector for the 5-wire version (1971)? When I purchased the car the wipers did not work. I discovered that someone had reversed two wires causing them to ground out. I now have working wipers at the full on position (both speeds) but the intermittent setting is not working. Any help?
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Re: Wiper Motor
I'm showing six wires in the wiring schematic and on a wiper motor I just pulled from a 72 (should be the same as 71). The wires from the wiper motor connector should correspond with the harness connector. Here are the colors I have:
grey - goes to wiper sweep speed control switch on dash
blue/white - goes to wiper intermittent cycling switch under dash
grey/black - goes to wiper control switch at column
blue - goes to wiper sweep speed control switch on dash
black - ground
