Hi Folks,

I just joined the group last week. I'm in the Raleigh, NC area and currently own a '79 Spider (carb'ed) and an '80 FI Spider. I had a '72 Spider for many years and started a restoration about 10 years ago but finally gave up on the body last year due to the cost and effort required to fix the rust in the sills. Used to have a '74 coupe that was a blast as well but was sold in 2001.

This board is a great resource and I'm looking forward to meeting other Spider owners and sharing what (little :D ) knowledge I have.

Kind Regards,

Jim Stutts

Howdy Jim, welcome to the forum. Wow, a lot of new members in your area lately. You should easily be able to get together with other Fiat enthusiasts which is the best part of owning these cars. We always request pictures of member's cars, so we'll be waiting for yours.

Hi Jim, and welcome.

if you have not had the pleasure, you should look up Denise (SpyderLady) here at this forum. She is the FIAT LANCIA UNLIMITED representative in your area, and is a regular attender here. She'll be happy to see you are off in the right direction on your restorations...and certainly will be pestering you to attend the social events in NC just for Fiat/Lancia folks.

Don't forget to post some pictures

Welcome to the sight. I echo Mike's and Denise's comments about the benefits of Fiat Lancia Unlimited. It significantly enhances the Fiat ownership experience. Welcome to the site.
