Hey folks! Great site and it's even better than before. I was on a couple of years ago. I have a '78 Spider here in Colorado. I struggle with keeping it running clean because of the altitude - 7000 feet. I started with the dual Webers but had to jump off of those fairly quickly.
Bought it - barely made it back from Texas - and immediately had to rewire it. That's out of the way and I'm now looking at some of the incidentals - need a new top - thinking about IAP for that. Also need seats with 3-point belts, any ideas? And always trying to get the thing to run a bit smoother. I'm burning a little oil so I suspect a valve job is in my future. Eventually I need to get a couple of dings out (my son just put another one in on Tues)
Anyway - it's great to have the site and the knowledge base back again. I look forward to some great advice and good conversations! Take care
Gary
Good to have the site back
welcome Gary, try World Upholstery at http://www.worlduph.com for a top. Your altitude situation would be ideal for FI rather than a carb

Gary,
Well finally another Fiat in Colorado, thought I was the only one here...
I too am working on a 78, I was working on a 76 till the wires let out their magic smoke...
I am currently parting her out little by little, taking the best of both to make one outstanding one...
Well I dont know what you may need or want but I just might have it, used and new parts i no longer need.
Just let me know...
And Welcome.
