Hello all,
I bought my '79 in '04 from the second owner!It is a local car and only had 93k at the time(now 105ish)I am 45 yrs old and have had several old sports cars when I was younger-bought this just for a fun commuter car and ended up liking it way more than I thought I would.Back in the early eighties I owned a very nice '69 TR6 at the same time my buddies had MGB,X-19,Sunbeam Alpine,and a 78 Spider.We would all poke fun at my friend with the Spider but after owning and working out the bugs on mine for a while I had to ask my buddy that had the Spider for forgiveness because it is an AWESOME car.This thing was ahead of its time!It is more fun to drive then any of the other cars!Well since I have always been the one they look to for mechanical advice(I was a M/C tech for 20yrs)they have followed my lead....I now have 3 buddies with Spiders!!!My friend that had the '78 bought his 6 mo after I bought mine!!!
