New old guy

Post by cabanaboy »

Howdy from Dallas, GREAT SITE...just added a lil' red '77 to the stable...She's been neglected, but not abused...rust free, stored indoors and still all there. It's been 10 years since I've owned a fiat [gtv 2.5] There were 7 124s prior to her...
I'll take this opportunity [just this once] to admit to restoring 5 MGBS in this last decade, may God have mercy on my soul.
With so many nice as in solid, solid examples of 124s in this area, what was i thinking? Ilook forward to your help and friendship. Thanks cabanaboy

Welcome to our humble site! We forgive you for the MGB slip...but it took you 5 to figure out your mistake??? There are a few good Fiat folks in your area. Make sure you post some pics of your new ride.

Hello, and welcome.
There is a Texas chapter of FLU (Fiat/Lancia Unlimited). I know Texas is a big state, but you may want to look them up and see if they're in your area, if you're interested in getting together with like-minded enthusiasts.

I think the FIAT Spider is the best buy in sports cars, hands down. After we got the '82 Spider my dad decided he wanted one, but couldn't find a nice Fiat so he got an MGB. He paid more and I can blow his doors off, plus it's design just seems antiquated and difficult to work on compaired to the FIAT.
