I had a 78' Superbrava in college and always wanted a spider. After college I got involved with MGs and restored and showed several in the 90's. It's been some years since I had a hobby car and now I'm going to have that Spider I wanted in college. I have a few FI models I'm looking at and hope to pick one up this week.

This forum has been a great source for me the last week. I have learned a lot about what to look for in these cars.

I will post a picture as soon as I get one.

Hello. Good luck getting just the right Spider. Sounds like you've done your homework, choosing an FI model.
You'll find that Fiat people are a special group, especially those on this forum. Welcome to the group.

Good luck in your search and let us know how it works out. There are many advantages to having an FI model, though it is a matter of personal preference.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on having the good sense to look for a fuelie  My story is very similar ,having owned several British Leyland cars. The solex carbs on my MG's are the main reason that I wanted a fuel injected car!My 82 has been trouble free ,and is a much better car in every area than either of my MG's. Good luck and post some pics.
