Hello from California

Post by rickvogue »

I currently have a 1980 Fiat 2000 Spider. I bought it from a member of our local Fiat club. I also have an Alfa Romeo Stelvio... it is great to have the old spider...it is something I can tinker with, and do most of the repairs and upkeep myself... I'm also half Italian, so it helps :)

Hi Rick(vogue)
and welcome to the forum! Congratulations to your purchase, probably a good running club car with no problems?!
We are always interested in some pics of your car.

California is still the US state with most Fiat spiders. The Register actually counts 1,362 cars, more than 200 Spider 2000 with model year 1980 included. Is your car already listed?

Would be great to add your car, if it is not listed yet.

Hello Rick,

I just joined the forum. Do you know of good Fiat mechanics in the CA central coast area?

I'd look up Chris Obert at FiatPlus.com. He's in Santa Cruz. I'm not a mechanic, but I am quick to offer advice, especially on the older spiders which are what I've always had.
