Greetings everyone, I'm happy to be a part of the Fiat community. Well my Spider that I purchased on ebay just arrived here from PA and I couldn't be happier with it. It's in really good shape for it's age but with one major issuse, it has no brakes. The PO had replaced all components of the brake system except the booster and master cylinder which seems to be in good shape, but I will go ahead and replace them anyway. Can't wait to get this sorted out so I can go for a drive. Looking forward to many hours of tinkering in my garage and communicating with you guys.

Thanks Todd, I uploaded all images to photobucket and added it to my post from there. There's more detailed info here on the forum that tells you how to do it. Hope that helps.

Re: New member in New Orleans
Welcome, sorry to hear about no brakes. I purchased a spider off Ebay (some say evilbay) back in 2009. When the car showed up it had no brakes. I had to replace all the hard brake lines to finally get the brakes to work. The only think I could come up with was the car must have sat with dirty brake fluid and caused corrosion inside the lines.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!
