Hello everyone. My name is Tom and for the past 10 years or so I’ve collected and worked on old Vespas. I’m getting too old to ride the Vespas more than a few miles….so I’ve decided to keep it Italian and I’m looking for a Fiat Convertible. I’ve got a heated garage and a good set of tools. If you have any advice or a good lead, please let me know!

I bought my '74 Spider a few weeks ago, and I found it on facebook marketplace. I'd recommend looking there. I found many Spiders in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Some were projects, and some were very complete and nice examples.

Glad to see another person from the Chicagoland area. Let me know if you buy a Spider and you'd like to go for a drive sometime.

I’d add eBay…I bought mine there 6 months ago…it wasn’t perfect, but after many hot afternoons and evenings, it’s a head turner now

I'm from the St Louis area and have three Fiats and should let one or two of them go. They are all mechanically sound and have new tires. None are restored. I drive each of them 500 to 1000 miles a year now. I would like to keep the automatic as my knees are bad. If your interested I can send you pictures.
