Hi again from the Okanagan of BC

Post by seawood »

Back again after an extended disappearance? Used to be Narfire but could not find my password to get connected again so started again.
Finally down to one car, the one I and many others brought back I dunno how many years ago.
Sold all the parts cars or sent them to the crusher. Sold a half finished 72 and a storage locker full of accumulated parts so now just down to a few bits and bobs that I might need if my 80 starts to act up.
Now retired, I hope to drive the car more than I have the past few years, maybe a couple of tanks of fuel a year is not enough.
Currently sorting out a heavy brake pedal application to get the car to stop. Ordered some parts and in the process of changing a few things out. The rear compensator was horrible looking so have a shiny new one in now, new MC with the acorn adjusted properly I hope.
Upper spring rubber bushes were toasted so drove to Mission today and Bernie was great to sell me a couple along with a hard brake line .
Funny how you remember all these nuances these cars offer after not doing much for 5 or more years. :D

Hi
and welcome back! I do not remember your old name, but nethertheless: We are interested in your story, your FIAT history.
How many cars have you owned, rescued or brought back on the street?

Have you any car informations (VIN, color etc.) for the Worldwide Spider Register?

Actual we got 33 cars from BC, Canada:

Hope, you can add some cars?!

Ciao, Ralf

Hey, Chris...wondered where you had gotten to. Hope you, Janyce and your furry friends are well. We’re hoping to be in Oliver for a week in May (3 to 10), Covid permitting. If you’re around, maybe a visit?
Cheers,
Bruce

Would love to see you.
Two goldens now. # 4 and 5., aka naughty and nice, Emmie and Tessie.
I'll pm contact info.
Did you sell your spider?
Took mine around the block today to check the brakes after changing the fluid and MC. Better, but after driving the Golf R, these are archaic in stopping power.
Also have the rad fan kicking in at 190 now.
Really did enjoy the past couple of days sorting a few things out. Change out the window crank handles is next and that's about it.
Last year put some Continental extreme contact sport on ( 205/50 15) and the little car sticks pretty good.
