Excited to be here. Just got an Spider 2000 '82 and I'm ecstatic! The car It's in good shape but needs tons of work. Currently dealing with an issue where the car idles and revs well but it will start to choke once I'm driving it. Any idea where to start?

Thank you sir! I'm already looking into it. Today I noice there is a humming coming from the mid-bacl of the car, where the fuel filter and pressure stabilizer are located. I'm hoping that's the issue.

You are probably hearing the fuel pump, mounted near the rear axle, and the fuel filter after it, but the filter would be silent. The pumps pretty much all make some noise. The pressure regulator is a part of the fuel rail up in the engine bay beside the intake manifold.
