Hello from SoCal, new to the forum
My first post here. Own a 1979 FIAT spider 2000. My Dad and I bought it in 1981. We co-owned it until my wife and I bought our first home. About 6 years ago I talked my Dad out or donating it or selling it to the pick-a-part. 87K miles on it, but it hasn't been running in many years. This was my first convertible and the car we drove up to Lake Tahoe on our honeymoon (actually eloped). It snowed on us that next day. Lots of fun memories with this car. I'm in the process of trying to get it back running. Hooked a jump box to try to fire it up. I see that the hazard switch has failed. So gorilla tape over it to hold the switch in the off position until I replace or repair it. Wish me luck!

Good luck! It's nice to have a car with family history and some stories around it.
