Superpro poly control arm bushings
Has anyone installed the Superpro 70k control arm bushings sold by Allison and others? They are described as “comfort”. Is the ride similar to stock rubber? BTW, my 40 yo cracked and squished stock ride fine, just old. 2nd question, has anyone found replacement poly pan hard rod bushings for (non tapered) 1980 bent bar?

Re: Superpro poly control arm bushings
I don't have any direct experience, but I vaguely recall some people saying that the poly(urethane) bushings were stiffer than the stock rubber bushings. I guess you could do some Web searching for what people are experiencing, and not just on Fiats.
As for the rear Panhard rod and upper and lower trailing arms, I've just left them alone unless they were damaged, or simply bought new rods/arms that already had new bushings in them. They're readily available and not too expensive. My sneaking suspicion is that replacing the bushings would require specialized equipment to install them.

Re: Superpro poly control arm bushings
Most people report a very hard ride with poly bushings, and it seems they are really intended for track use.

Re: Superpro poly control arm bushings
I searched Superpro and found a thread by SoCalMark that answers my question. Thanks for your help.
