Hi all, just got a rust free 1981. It has the Pininfarina hard top and redone cosmetically. 245,000 miles and seems to run great.
Main issues are a leaking right front caliper (easy) and clown-car floppy steering (harder).
I've had a '77 MGB that was carb and pre elec ignition so this is way better.
Just learning the engineering perspective differences between the brits and the italians.....hmm...
I've also got a 2012 Lotus Evora that seems to turn when you simply tilt your head. High expectations for handling but it seems the Fiat can't get there.
Current Stable: Lotus Evora, Fiat 2000, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jaguar XF-R

LcKitty,

Sorry you did not get a response sooner. The regulars (I am not one of them) are usually pretty good about welcoming new members, and being generally helpful. This is a good site for getting your questions answered.

I am, obviously, in Seattle as well. I have a 1980 red spider. Have not really been out in it for a couple of years (my bad). Have to get it cleaned up for this spring. Hopefully Covid will be under control by the warmer weather and we can enjoy our cars again.

Oh, there is a local Fiat club but I do not know how active they are anymore. It is Fiat Enthusiasts Northwest, and here is the webpage: http://www.fiatnorthwest.org/

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays,

John
