Hello from Cape Breton Nova Scotia

Hello everybody from North Sydney specifically. We are just a few km down the road from the big Newfoundland Ferry Terminal.
I have a 2019 Navy (Mare) Blue Spider 124 Abarth.

When I was in my teens I grew up in Germany. I had a friend who had a couple Fiats, including a Spider at one point. I have always loved the sweet sexy convertible.
I was living and working in the US when they relaunched the Spider. I immediately fell in love and wanted to have one. Finally in 2017 I got my hands on a 2017 Classica automatic in grey. I totally missed the chance to try and get one of the special editions Italian blue ones that first came out. When I heard that they added dark blue to the line up, and my wife never took any interest in driving it even with the auto slush box, I had to have a manual Abarth with all the trimmings. I traded in the Classica for the Abarth. Had to make the salesman work hard for his commission. To find me what I asked for they had to trade with a dealer 150 miles away.
I’m having issues with importing to Canada, which I will post on in the forum.
Glad to have found this board for mutual exchange of ideas and experiences.

We took our RV over to Newfoundland from that Ferry, the entire Canadian Maritimes are beautiful!

Twillingate, North coast of Newfoundland. We took the Lance through New England, NB, PEI, NS and NF on an extended journey. Lovely people, some of the friendliest people we have ever met!
