My mechanic tightend my manual throttle, raised my idle, and now my turn signals don't want to blink as fast if at all. They sit there like the alternator is bad. I just replaced the alternator three mos. ago. Wondering if it could be bad. OR a bad relay?!? Any sugg.

New work bad result
Re: New work bad result
I'd check the grounds for the lights and look at how tightly the bulbs fit the sockets
Re: New work bad result
the turn signal lights all gotta work before any work. if the left side is not functioning... suspect both the front and back. same for the right side...treat the front and back as a pair.
this electrical issue will not have anything to do with your recent carburetor work, and you should get the same symptoms with the engine off and key on as you do with the engine on. there should be enough juice in a battery to run your turn signals for quite a while....(not likely to be an alternator related issue, unless the battery is drained).
clean all the grounds, and replace any suspect lights
